I've been shooting professionally since 2012 and I've almost shot it all; from weddings and birth stories to real estate and fitness. I formed A. Jo Collective in 2019 as kind of a rebirth for my previous photography business and it served as my landing place for whatever projects came about when I let my creativity flow. I continued to take on all kinds of work, but this time, I felt truer to myself than ever before.

In 2022, after a ton of soul-searching, I had the ah-ha moment I'd been waiting on for many years. I have such a heart for entrepreneurs and business owners and their stories. Throw in the mix a love for home design and interiors and it finally clicked that it can all go hand in hand. So I decided to focus my work on helping others grow and promote their businesses through photography.

I feel that this is the early stages of the evolution of my business. Ideas and dreams continue to surface, but that's exactly why I picked the the name of my business. To let it be just that, a collective. One that allows me to freely follow where my soul leads, without ties to any one thing.
